Recipes Honed over 50+ Years

“The best memories are made while
gathered around the table.”

– Unknown

Welcome to my kitchen,  or should I say, laboratory? Our youngest son says that I am two-parts cook , and one-part scientist. For if a recipe is not delicious, but has the possibility of being, I work with it until it is worthy of attaining a page in my cookbook. I just can’t help it. The truth is that cooking is my love language, as it was my mother’s and grandmother’s. Some of their recipes will very likely show up on this page. Enjoy! Oh, here is a hint that has helped me out. When unexpected guests show up, don’t fret. They have come for the fellowship more than the food. Throw on another vegetable, or two, and pass the meat around last, or place it last on the buffet. By the time your guests get to the meat, their plates will be nearly full, and there will be little room for much more.

Knowing God

Many believers are unaware of the intimate relationship God desires to have with us. Often sermons, and conversations, refer to such a relationship, with little, if any, instructions on how to draw into life-changing fellowship with God. Thus, few listeners are guided through helpful steps for developing one. This website is dedicated to the purpose of knowing God and making Him known.
