Sausage Skillet

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds polish sausage, diagonally sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced thin
  • 1 onion, sliced thin
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 pound cabbage, sliced thick, roasted (read food blurb)
  • 3 cups rice, cooked
  • 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil, and garlic in skillet.
  2. Stir in sausage, and cook until browned.
  3. Add bell pepper, onion, water and tomato sauce.
  4. Simmer 10 minutes, until liquid is almost absorbed.
  5. Add cooked rice and cabbage.
  6. Reheat to warm.
  7. Sprinkle lightly with cheese.
