Very Good Granola

Ingredients
  • 1 cup roasted, unsalted sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • ¾ grape nuts
  • ½ cup chopped or slivered almonds
  • ½ cup coarsely chopped walnuts
  • ½ cup wheat germ, wheat flakes or crushed bran flakes
  • 2 tablespoons ground flax seed
  • 2 tablespoons salad oil
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • ¾ cup raisins (added after baking)
Instructions
  1. Mix sunflower seeds with cinnamon.
  2. Add to that the next 5 ingredients.
  3. In separate bowl combine salad oil, honey, and vanilla.
  4. Pour liquid mixture over granola mixture.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Spread on edged cookie sheet.
  7. Bake at 275 for 20 to 30 minutes.
  8. Half way through baking time stir granola.
  9. After removing from oven add raisins.
